Service Description

Yoga at schools offers students not only physical, but also mental, emotional and social benefits. These classes target the needs of children. Their bodies are changing, growing and as well as their brain and this is reflected in the yoga taught. Classes can vary between 45 - 60 minutes. ​ Classes will be more creative and interactive than regular classes. Different yoga poses will be practiced along with breathing techniques and a short meditation. Young people face many challenges on a daily basis. Yoga is a way to help them deal with those difficult situations. Yoga practice can help improve their attention span, memory and also the retention of information. I have trained with Stacey Nelson and completed her module "Yoga in Schools Secondary".
